a fantastic danced tale show based on eastern folk tales.

During the whole show, Nourhene our storyteller, will invite you in a beautiful trip around the 1001 beauties of the oriental culture, from classical bellydance to modern tribal dance. Yasmina, a smart and pretty young woman gets married with the" Great Sultan". As she is chased away by her husband, she meets many dancers ( bollywood dancer, tribal dancer, arabo andalusian dancer...) that will give her their forces and show her the true way to her real woman nature.

Tribal Dance: MYSTERY and ELEGANCE

Born in USA in the 60’s, the Tribal Dance is based on the concepts of community, improvisation and crossbreeding.
Tribal dancers have generally mastered the bellydance technics and create their own style thanks to the fusion of various dances.

Each Tribal dancer has its own style, a result of an amazing mix of her culture and her history with a commun vocabulary shared by all Tribal Dancers.
There is not one tribal dance but a tribal spirit supported by thousands of tribal dancers all over the world.
Lina, with her belly dance company Roses des Sables, has created her own style based on bellydance, hiphop and bollywood technics.

Bollywood dances are becoming more than a simple trend… It is now one of the most popular art in the world and not only in India!

Lina

Describing Lina in a few words is quite hard.

She has devoted her life to dance and this passion makes her a amazing artist with thousands of talents, thanks to by her double culture.

As her father was born in Egypt and her mother in the north of France, she rapidly discovers the mythic Samia Gamal, the Farid El Atrach’s music, the unforgettable voice of Oum Kalsthoum and at the same time, classical ballet. At 8, she decided to become a dancer. She works hard for that, practicing jazz dance, african dance, salsa and then bellydance.
She is a talentous performer whose passion for dance amazes audiences. She is admired for her artistics interpretations and for her beautiful, unique and sensual performances…

Bellydance teacher since 2000, she is also the artistic director of the Bellydance company, Roses des Sables, created in 2002. With her dancers and musicians, she can express her sensibility and emotion throught rich, various and amazing shows.

She is also a innovative choreographer and has developed her own style in Tribal Dance choreographies.
